Marion County Babywearers Inc a is local, volunteer-led babywearing advocacy, education, and support group for Ocala/Marion County, FL and the surrounding areas.  

 

We are focused on the many benefits of safely wearing your baby or child. Join us to discuss and learn more about babywearing and help others at the same time. Whether you are a curious newbie or experienced veteran, we have monthly meetings and special events to interest you! You can work with a babywearing educator, ask questions, share experiences, browse our Lending Library to try out new wraps & carriers-- and, of course, make new friends and have fun! Meetings are always free and open to the public.

The purpose of this nonprofit corporation is:

• to build the bond between babies and caregivers through baby carrier education and support;

• to provide a community education service and distribute baby carriers to individuals and other organizations for their use; and

• to celebrate babywearing among caregivers through online and in-person gatherings.
