Marion County Babywearers Inc is run 100% by volunteers! We are committed to providing our community with babywearing advocacy, education, and support.

Ways to be involved

Become a volunteer babywearing educator. We are actively recruiting individuals who are competent in a variety of babywearing skills or willing to learn. We have training available!

Assist at meetings - Welcome newcomers, greet attendees, help with set up or break down, and assist with sign in/checkouts/memberships,

Fundraising – Help create FUNdraising events for the organization, encourage participation and members to host fundraisers.

Membership – Encourage general membership and promote members to participate in contests, meetings, activities. May also host membership drives and solicit membership perks.

Social media or to help with technical aspects, including our website, software, or spreadsheets.

Volunteering your time, behind the scenes planning via the Facebook leader group, or offering business discounts

We have monthly planning meetings and would love for you to attend if you are interested in learning more about how you can help the organization. We appreciate our volunteers and all offers of help. Best of all, we have fun doing what we do and would love to have you!
